(VIRTUAL) CENTRAL LOCK
TOSIBOX® Central Lock is the hub for your TOSIBOX® VPN connections. Scalable concurrent VPN connections can easily be created and managed for remote maintenance, continuous data monitoring and data logging purposes. It brings all remote sites to a single point, and centrally manages user and access rights across the entire network in real-time. Virtual Central Lock is a licensed software product that runs in a virtual server environment. The main functionality and features of the Virtual Central Lock are similar to the software of the Central Lock. In addition to the features of the Central Lock, the Virtual Central Lock supports an arbitrary number of virtual LAN interfaces. Because the product is a virtual machine, it can be deployed in office networks and cloud infrastructures.
Locks
TOSIBOX® Lock is a device that accepts remote connections from matched Keys and creates private and secure access to connected network devices. The network devices that are connected to the Lock´s LAN port are automatically found. The Lock automatically distributes IP addresses for the Keys, Sub Keys and the network devices connected to LAN port(s) of the Lock. The Lock can also control network devices with fixed IP addresses. A Sub Lock is a Lock that has been converted to Sub Lock mode. When connecting two Locks to each other, one must be in Sub Lock mode of operation. NAT and firewall friendly, the Lock’s patented Plug & GOTM connection method takes you out of the box and into use in less than 5 minutes, without the need for software installations, network configurations or special skills.
Keys, SoftKeys, and Mobile Client
TOSIBOX® Key is an intelligent crypto processing device that enables a secure connection between your computer and one or more TOSIBOX® Locks, giving you full visibility and control over the network devices connected to the Lock. Connections are established through a secure, encrypted VPN tunnel over the Internet or other common WANs and LANs, and permissions can be easily granted, revoked and configured in an unlimited number of ways. The SoftKey also enables a secure connection between your computer and one or more TOSIBOX® Locks, but is a computer software that works without a physical TOSIBOX® Key device. TOSIBOX® Mobile Client gives you secure and easy remote access on the go by enabling secure VPN connections to matched TOSIBOX® Lock devices, using the mobile device’s Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. The SoftKey and Mobile Client’s access rights are granted and controlled from the physical TOSIBOX® Key, after which they remain bound to it. The access rights are device-specific and non-transferrable.
Lock for Container
The new TOSIBOX® Lock for Container helps bring secure connectivity inside your industrial IoT devices. It is a software-only way of connecting your IPCs, HMIs, PLCs, controllers and other devices to your TOSIBOX® network, serving as the endpoint for secure remote connections. With TOSIBOX® Lock for Container, services running on the connected device can be securely accessed over the Internet and most LAN and WAN networks through highly encrypted VPN connection. No user input is required after setup, TOSIBOX® Lock for Container runs silently in the system background. TOSIBOX® networks are known to be ultimately secure yet flexible to fit many different environments and uses. TOSIBOX® Lock for Container supports one-way, Layer 3 VPN tunnels between a TOSIBOX® Key and TOSIBOX® Lock for Container or two-way, Layer 3 VPN tunnels between TOSIBOX® Virtual Central Lock and TOSIBOX® Lock for Container, without a third-party cloud in the middle.
