Flame Safeguard Controls

The Fireye® Flame-Monitor™ Flame Safeguard Series provides the proper burner sequencing, ignition, and flame-monitoring protection on automatically ignited oil, gas, and combination fuel burners. In conjunction with limit and operating controls, the Flame-Monitor E110 programs the burner/blower motor, ignition, and fuel valves to provide for proper and safe burner operation. The control also provides current operating status and lockout information in the event of a safety shutdown. 

YB110/YB230 BurnerLogiX™

The Fireye® BurnerLogix™ System is a microprocessor-based burner-management control system designed to provide the proper burner sequencing, ignitionn and flame monitoring protection on automatically ignited oil, gas, and combination-fuel burners.

BurnerLogix™ Z

The Fireye® BurnerLogix™ Z System expands on the standard BurnerLogix Y System (see bulletin
BL-1001) by combining boiler control functions with the same burner-management control found in
the Y system. The result is a single compact package that can directly control the boiler’s output- firing rate based on either input pressure, temperature, or both.

BurnerPRO

The Fireye BurnerPRO is a compact, microprocessor-based, primary-flame safeguard control system designed to provide the proper burner sequencing, ignition, and continuous flame monitoring for on/off, multistage, or modulating burners used in commercial-heating and process-equipment firing oil and gas fuels. The system is designed for use in nonpermanent operations that require burner recycle at least once every 24 hours.

Flame-Monitor E110 Flame Safeguard

The Fireye® Flame-Monitor™ Flame Safeguard Series provides the proper burner sequencing, ignition, and flame-monitoring protection on automatically ignited oil, gas, and combination-fuel burners. In conjunction with limit and operating controls, the Flame-Monitor E110 programs the burner/blower motor, ignition, and fuel valves to provide for proper and safe burner operation. The control also provides current operating status and lockout information in the event of a safety shutdown. 

E300 Expansion Module

The Fireye® E300 Expansion Module provides increased interlock supervision capability of the Flame–Monitor System. The Expansion Module connects to any EB700 Flame-Monitor chassis by means of a ribbon cable.

M4RT1 Flame Safeguard Control

The Fireye® M4RT1 Flame Safeguard Control is a compact burner management system. Designed to provide automatic ignition and continuous flame monitoring, the M4RT1 is meant for commercial-sized heating and process burners that use gaseous fuels. The M4RT1 control incorporates a safety-checking circuit that is operative on each start. If flame (real or simulated) is detected prior to a start or during the purge, the fuel valves will not be energized, and the unit will lock out. 

MicroM Series MEC120 Flame Safeguard

The Fireye® MicroM Series Flame Safeguard Control is a compact, microprocessor-based, modular burner-management system designed to provide automatic ignition and continuous flame monitoring for commercial heating and process equipment. The advantage of the MicroM is zero dependence on discrete components previously used for timing functions. The MicroM, through the use of microcontroller technology, incorporates smart diagnostic LEDs, smart reset function for multiburner applications, optional alphanumeric display output (ED510), and serial communications via a Modbus or E500 Communication Interface.

MII Series MC120 Flame Safeguard

The Fireye® Modular M-Series II Flame Safeguard Controls are compact, modular burner management systems. They are designed to provide automatic ignition and continuous flame monitoring for commercial sizes of heating and process burners that use gas and/or light-oil fuels. Interchangeable programmer and amplifier modules allow for complete versatility in selection of control function, timing, and flame-scanning means. 

YZ300 and YZ320 INTERLOCK ANNUNCIATOR

The Fireye® YZ300 (YZ320) Interlock Annunciator Module provides increased interlock supervision capability of the BurnerLogix system. The Interlock Annunciator Module connects to any YB110 (YB230) or ZB110 (ZB230) BurnerLogix chassis/amplifier by means of a cable,
(P/N ED580-2, ED580-4, ED580-8).

Our Nexus® family of products is used in boiler applications to not only provide the flame- safeguard function, but also control the entire burner operation in a manner which greatly improves efficiency and lowers operational costs. NEXUS NXEXP300

The Fireye NEXUS NXEXP300 is a microprocessor-based expansion module for use with the Fireye Nexus PPC6000 or NX6100 Series of parallel-positioning controls. The NXEXP300 expands the capability of the parallel-positioning system by adding valuable safety-rated digital inputs, sequence-draft control, boiler water-level control, and total dissolved solids (TDS) surface and bottom blow-down control.

Scanners

The 48PT2 scanner comes with cables rated for tray cable – exposed run (TC-ER) and complies with the crush and impact requirements of the standard for metal clad cable, UL 1569.

55UV5-1007 - 55UV5-1009

Fireye 55UV5 self-checking scanners are used to detect ultraviolet emissions from fossil-fuel flames, such as natural gas, coke-oven gas, propane, methane, butane, kerosene, light petroleum distillates, and diesel fuels, and are suitable for use in Class I, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D and Class II, Div. 2 Groups F and G hazardous locations.

Process Controls

MB Series MB600S Burner Control

The Fireye Multi-Burner Monitoring System controls the start-up sequence and monitors the flame of up to 20 individual gas, oil, or combination gas/oil burners connected to a common valve train. Its dynamic on-board testing checks for faulty relays, proof of valve closure, high- and low-fire switch interlocks, and shorted air switch. Exclusive to the unit is its ability to specifically identify which burner caused the initial flame failure.

MBCE-110/230UV Flame Sensor Modules

The MBCE-110/230UV modules provide visual indication and electrical outputs that signal the user regarding flame presence in a combustion chamber. The module uses Fireye UV scanners to sense flame presence independently or as components in a burner-management system.

MBPF-100S, MB-600PF, MBPF-200S and MBPF-202S Modules

The MBPF-100S, MB-600PF, MBPF-200S, and MBPF-202S modules provide visual indication and electrical output that signal the user regarding flame presence in a combustion chamber. The module uses Fireye optical ultraviolet scanners and/or flame rod to sense flame presence independently or as components in a burner-management system.

Integrated Flame Scanners

Fireye provides a variety of UV and IR flame scanners which accurately detect the presence or absence of flame in a combustion chamber. Our scanners include advanced sensors and algorithms that can discriminate its target burner from adjacent flames in the same combustion chamber. Our scanners can be used with all fuel types and burner configurations. Our inSight® and Phoenix™ families are integrated designs which include all the appropriate detection and amplification circuitry in one compact unit.

InSight Type 95IR, 95UV, and 95DS Flame Scanners

The Fireye InSight Type 95IR, 95UV, and 95DS flame scanners are microprocessor-based flame scanners utilizing solid-state infrared (IR), ultraviolet (UV), or dual (IR and UV) sensors. The FIREYE InSight Type 95 flame scanners incorporate an internal flame relay with adjustable on/off thresholds, thereby eliminating the need for a remote flame amplifier.

InSight Series 4

The InSight Series 4 scanners utilize advanced techniques for discrimination and integrate the flame detection, amplification, safety determination, and flame-switch functions into a single detection head. No separate amplifier or flame-switch module is required to interface with the main burner-management system.

Phoenix Series 2

The Fireye Phoenix Series 2 type 85UVF/IRF flame scanners are microprocessor-based devices utilizing a solid-state flame detection sensor. The Phoenix flame scanners incorporate an internal flame relay with automatically set on/off thresholds, thereby eliminating the need for a remote flame amplifier or flame switch.

65UV5 Flame Scanners

The Fireye 65UV5 flame scanner is a microprocessor-based flame scanner utilizing an ultraviolet tube-type sensor and an electromechanical, self-checking shutter mechanism. The Fireye 65UV5 flame scanner incorporates an internal flame relay with a fixed on/off threshold thereby eliminating the need for an external flame amplifier.
